Contracted by Google through Chemistry Creative, this immersive installation combined RFID input, AI-driven personalization, computer vision, and projection mapping to create a tactile, story-driven book discovery experience. Users interacted through retrofitted telephones and physical books, triggering real-time responses across projection and voice systems.

Technical Contributions

Developed a custom Arduino-based RFID system to trigger personalized, ID-linked interactions across the installation
Engineered a robust real-time architecture linking RFID, phones, and projection through optimized networking
Co-created a modular pipeline using APIs and AI cross-referencing to interpret user input and generate personalized book recommendations
Designed a computer vision system to track physical book interactions and drive responsive projection mapping
Built a hardware-integrated phone interface to sync physical handset actions with real-time dialogue and visuals
Utilized a cross-disciplinary tech stack spanning embedded systems, computer vision, real-time graphics, and AI APIs
